Demi's head on model's bodyOnline fashion bloggers have subject whether Demi Moore’s body is really her own on the latest cover of W magazine – or whether it has been replace by that of supermodel Anja Rubik, with Miss Moore’s head superimpose on top.

A spot of airbrushing here and there is to be predictable on any magazine cover – but online critics felt that this example appeared to be one step too far.

When the December issue of W magazine hit the news stand last week, there was instant quizzical from fashion fans, as to whether the by now slender Demi had been digitally altered – as in particular, her left hip appear to be significantly smaller than natural.

Fashion bloggers and reader went into online overdrive; point out that the usual curve of Miss Moore’s hip and thigh seem to be distorted.

W magazine has firmly deprived of the claims, saying that ‘nothing unusual’ took place – but a prominent style blog has put forward a far more tremendous theory…

The W cover sees the actress generous a gold Balmain leotard with tassled shoulder and drape around the hips – the same piece worn by 26-year-old model Anja Rubik on the footbridge during the current Paris show.

The creator of blog PopCultureMadness have sharp out the striking resemblance between Demi’s body on the cover, and that of the 20-years-younger model – quizzical as to whether a drastic body swap has taken place. By comparing two images side-be-side, some eagle-eyed fashion fans are even quizzical as to whether Demi in fact wore the Balmain leotard in the first place.

What do you think? Is that really Anja’s body we’re considering on the front of the periodical? Is it just an over-altered Demi? Or is this all just a big fuss about not no matter which? Let us know your commentary in the box below!
